About a third of the people who live here have phone numbers with an out of state area code. Many people automatically block out of state numbers. If you block a number and then add it to your contact list, the block remains on until you manually remove it. If someone mentions that they left you a message and you didn’t get it, please check the contact list in your phone to see if you may have inadvertently blocked their number.
